While most of the early production models are in Boston for first drives by journalists this week, a few wound their way to the wilds of Canada for what appeared to be glamour shots for brochures for Honda’s volume-seller.
The new front-wheel-drive sedan may not be the sexiest mid-size out there, but neither was the outgoing model, and it sold more than 350,000 copies in the U.S. alone last year. Like the barely clad spy shots of the sedan we showed you in May, the final form of the new four-door is sportier, with squared-off headlamps dating back to the coupe concept and a new three-dimensional beveled grille.
Shown in blue, the side creases appear more pronounced and elongate the sedan, especially the hood, for a sleeker, more elegant look, even with rounder lines as compared with the edgier quality of the coupe, which we last spied in April.
